Cecily was born in 2009. At age 17, she remains undiagnosed with a rare genetic disorder.  Her medical team didn't expect her to live.  But they underestimated her fierce, fighting spirit. After facing countless surgeries, including a heart transplant in 2022, Cecily regained her strength and is proving the impossible possible every day.

 

Cecily began riding at age 2.  Over several years she built a strong physical core that enabled her to learn to walk at age four, and ultimately find her voice. Her journey ignited a deep passion and a clear sense of purpose that continues to light up her life today.  As her parents, we are committed to sharing the gift of horses with others.
